# OutboundScope Sample Audit Report

This sample is anonymized from a real SmartLead-style outbound audit.

## Verdict

The mailbox layer is usable, but the outbound operation is not ready for a serious scale-up until alerting, bounce risk, campaign hygiene, and sender-domain trust issues are fixed.

## Snapshot

- 22 mailboxes checked
- 22/22 SMTP connections healthy
- 22/22 IMAP connections healthy
- 22/22 warmup enabled
- 17 campaigns reviewed
- 0 active campaigns
- 5,803 historical sends
- 35 replies, about 0.6%
- 359 bounces, about 6.2%
- 8 sender domains checked

## Findings

### High: No active campaign or launch watchlist

The workspace has historical campaigns but no active campaign. That makes it hard to tell whether the current setup is genuinely healthy or just idle.

Recommended fix: define the next campaign launch, expected volume, owner, target market, and health thresholds before resuming sends.

### High: Historical bounce rate is too high

Several campaigns had bounce rates above 8%, with the worst above 15%. This points to lead-source quality or list validation issues.

Recommended fix: pause reuse of old lead sources until the list pipeline is validated and recent bounce rate is below 3%.

### High: Critical events are not routed into a monitored workflow

No durable webhook or mailbox-disconnect alert path was configured. Replies, bounces, unsubscribes, interested leads, and disconnected inboxes need a monitored destination.

Recommended fix: configure event webhooks and disconnect warnings before the next campaign launch.

### Medium: Sender domains have web trust issues

Core DNS authentication existed, but HTTPS checks failed for sender domains. Dead or slow sender-domain web surfaces can reduce trust with prospects and security systems.

Recommended fix: point sender domains to a simple HTTPS landing page or redirect with working TLS.

### Medium: Campaign taxonomy is missing

Tags and lead categories were unused. That makes weekly reporting messy once multiple markets, offers, or owners are active.

Recommended fix: add tags for market, persona, offer, owner, lead source, and experiment before the next outbound push.

### Low: Mailbox connectivity and warmup are currently healthy

All checked inboxes connected successfully and warmup placement looked clean.

Recommended fix: keep warmup running, but do not treat clean warmup as proof that live campaign volume can scale safely.

## First 7-Day Fix Plan

1. Add webhook and disconnect-warning routing.
2. Fix sender-domain HTTPS.
3. Create campaign tags and naming rules.
4. Validate or replace lead sources that caused high bounce rates.
5. Relaunch with conservative per-inbox caps and weekly health checks.
